Choquequirao la ciudad perdida


Choquequirao se encuentra en el valle de vilcabamba la convención este centro arqueológico también es considerado importante como Machupicchu porque era una ciudad perdida donde los incas se refugiaron a partir de 1536. La palabra choquequirao proviene de la palabra quechua “chuqui K’iraw”, que significa “cuna de oro” el complejo arquitectónico de choquequirao es un sitio agradable con  hermosas y asombrosas arquitecturas que se muestras a su alrededor  llenos de vida y de verdor que rodean este lugar.

Desde el mirador observamos el humedal de Huacarpay compuesto por seis lagunas, este humedal es lo que queda de n gran lago llamado MORKILL que originalmente abarco desde la ciudad del Cusco hasta lucre. Vuelan distancias impresionantes dentro de las diversas especies de aves vienen desde Norteamerica y centro de América haciendo de este lugar un eminente atractivo para los ornitólogos la mejor hora para verlas es muy temprano por la mañana y por la tarde. Como otra actividad interesante se practica la equitación, paseos a caballo que se realiza por los alrededores del humedal, permitiendo tomar fotografías del bello paisaje entre otras actividades

The salt mines of Maras

Se encuentra a 27 km de la  ciudad del Cusco pertenece al distrito de Oropesa Provincia de Quispicanchis, este centro arqueológico es uno  de los más visitados por los turistas, en este sitio se encuentra una de las más grandes obras de irrigación en las terrazas llamados también andenes que actualmente son cultivadas, la increíble distribución de los conductos de agua al aire libre. Es un lugar hermoso y admirables fuentes de agua  con una sorprendente arquitectura incaica.
